As a consultant in our Defined Contribution DC consulting team, you will be involved in delivering expert advice to employers and trustees on their DC schemes and wider savings plans. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting lead consultants to develop and deliver advice on scheme design, investment strategy, communications, retirement support, provider selection, governance, and compliance.
- Researching and drafting technical papers and advice documents for review by senior colleagues.
- Supporting clients at meetings and maintaining accurate records of client interactions.
- Managing small projects for clients from initial scope through to delivery.
- Contributing to internal specialist groups covering key DC issues or colleague development groups.
- Providing guidance and training to junior colleagues.
The role requires a good understanding of DC pensions and experience in a consulting, provider, or administration environment. You should also be working towards or willing to sit relevant professional exams, such as PMI, CII, or IMC.
A successful candidate will be proactive, inquisitive, and organized with excellent project management and relationship skills. They should also have high attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a team while also independently.
