We are seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Defined Contribution Pensions Expert.

Job Summary

This role involves working alongside senior consultants in delivering advice to employers and trustees on DC schemes, covering scheme design, investment strategy, communications, retirement support, provider selection, governance, and compliance.

You will be responsible for assisting lead consultants in researching and drafting technical papers, attending client meetings, maintaining client records and systems, and managing small discrete projects from scoping through to delivery.

  • Assist in the development of comprehensive solutions for clients, ensuring that their needs are met in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Contribute to internal specialist groups and colleague development groups, enhancing your knowledge and skills in the field of defined contribution pensions.
  • Support and train junior colleagues, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure their success in the role.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess good knowledge of defined contributions (DC) pensions and experience in a consulting, provider, or administration role.

  • Relevant qualifications, such as membership of a professional body or relevant certifications, are highly desirable.
  • Proactive, inquisitive, and organised, with excellent project management and relationship skills.
  • Able to work efficiently within tight deadlines, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Highly detail-oriented with good communication skills, able to effectively articulate complex ideas and concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
