We are seeking a Pensions Expert to drive technical excellence in pensions. The successful candidate will have deep expertise in DB pensions and lead complex work, mentor others, and create smarter, scalable solutions.
The role will involve anticipating client needs and identifying practical solutions to calculation suites. You will create tailored client solutions for complex service offerings, interact with third parties to clarify complex and technical queries, build confidence in expressing ideas in conference calls or dealing with challenging situations, provide an efficient, professional service to meet all client needs and promote the WTW brand.
You will be accountable for the delivery of all projects within your capacity and work towards developing and optimizing end-to-end automation. Contribute to the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives and single team culture.
Key Requirements:
- Strong background in UK occupational pensions.
- Self-starter attitude and ability to work well within ambiguity.
- Adeptness at learning new technology and tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think through problems and implement solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work on virtual teams.
- Process-driven with ability to modify approach.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel & Word.
- Problem-solving and reasoning skills.
- Ability to work effectively as a self-sustaining contributor or as part of a broader team.
- Experience establishing standards and procedures and advocating best practices.
- Strong knowledge of Contracting Out Requirements such as GMP.
- Strong Defined Benefit Knowledge, including historical knowledge of UK Pensions Legislation.
