Senior Pensions Specialist Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team as a Senior Pensions Specialist.

You'll work alongside a highly skilled team, supporting a wide range of Defined Benefit occupational pension schemes.

As we continue to grow, partnering with leading pension schemes and delivering innovative solutions, you'll play a key role in driving technical excellence, improving ways of working, and creating efficiency across our delivery model.

We're looking for someone with deep expertise in DB pensions, especially in areas like Guaranteed Minimum Pensions, GMP Equalisation, and Barber period calculations.

You'll bring strategic insight and hands-on skills to lead complex work, mentor others, and shape smarter solutions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UK occupational pensions, a self-starter attitude, and ability to work well in ambiguity.

Adeptness at learning new technology and tools, strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to think through problems and implement solutions are essential.

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and work on virtual teams, process-driven with ability to modify approach, excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines.

Working knowledge of MS Excel & Word, good time management skills and the ability to organize and prioritize workload, problem-solving and reasoning skills, and ability to work effectively as a self-sustaining contributor or part of a broader team.

Some knowledge of Unix-based operating systems, use of the command line, and SQL is advantageous but not essential.
