Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Content Writer to join our team in creating high-quality blog content for both B2C and B2B audiences.

The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, excellent English language proficiency, and the ability to adapt tone and content strategy to different audiences.

You will be responsible for crafting compelling narratives that showcase Icelandic and Nordic culture, landscapes, and authentic experiences aligned with our luxury storytelling goals.

In this role, you will also conduct keyword research, optimize website content for SEO, update and refresh existing blog content, and collaborate with our marketing and SEO teams to refine the content strategy.

This is a remote full-time position requiring strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with our international team.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proven experience in blog writing, content creation, or journalism, ideally within travel, luxury, or hospitality.
  • Strong knowledge of SEO best practices: keyword research, meta descriptions, on-page optimization, and content structuring.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Webflow.
  • Excellent English writing skills, with flawless grammar and engaging storytelling ability.
  • Ability to conduct in-depth research and translate insights into high-value, tailored content.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEO performance tools.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Exceptional storytelling and copywriting skills, adaptable for different tones and audiences (B2B vs B2C).
  • Strong analytical mindset to interpret SEO results and refine content strategies.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring polished, culturally authentic, and error-free content.
  • Time management and organizational skills to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams.
