Financial Director Job Description

This role is responsible for leading the finance team to deliver accurate and timely management information to the Board and departments. You will also develop and lead the evolution of financial reporting processes and business systems.

  • To lead and direct the finance team to deliver accurate and regular management information to the Board and departments.
  • To develop and lead the evolution of the Company's financial reporting processes and business systems.

You will work closely with the MD and the company to support budgetary planning and forecasting processes, ensuring all financial accounting and administration functions, internal controls, and reconciliations are performed properly. This includes producing and interpreting management accounts, ensuring year-end audits are performed properly, generating and maintaining cash flow and budgeting requirements, and ensuring compliance with all tax and statutory matters.

The ideal candidate will have an accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA or CIMA) and at least 10 years of post-qualification experience in a financial management role (Financial Manager or FD). They should also have strong proficiency in financial software and databases, and experience working with financial forecasting software is a strong advantage.

Benefits
  • $40,000 - $50,000 a year.
  • 20 days paid leave per annum.

  • You are classified as a self-employed contractor and responsible for your own tax.
