About Ocean Network Express

Ocean Network Express is a global container carrier with a fleet size of approximately 1.53 million TEU, operating more than 200 vessels and offering an expeditious and reliable international network of over 130 services to 120 countries.

As a Global Container Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and reliability of our fleet at the lowest possible cost in the region. This includes analyzing budget implications, approval, rejection, and inspection in accordance with our maintenance policies.

Key responsibilities include creating dashboards based on critical analysis, supporting maintenance activities in Latin American countries, monitoring local offices, and coordinating assistance for loaded containers.

You will also analyze damaged equipment turnaround times, monitor estimate receipt times and repair performance in each country, review and approve invoices, check warehouse/port inventory, and arrange distribution.

Additionally, you will prepare GOH installations, special repairs (UPGRADE), and reefer preparation, analyze third-party damages through application of the M&R fee, and ensure that repair costs are charged to the third party.

The ideal candidate will have intermediate/advanced English, basic Spanish (preferred), knowledge in Shipping/Containers, and experience working in a depot as a Container Inspector / Refrigeration Technician / Equipment Control.

A Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, Refrigeration, or Production is required, along with strong communication, negotiation, and positive influence skills, initiative to identify and solve challenging problems, and ability to prioritize activities, plan, and organize tasks effectively.
