Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Data Architect. You will be responsible for designing and managing data infrastructure, ensuring data security and compliance, and developing solutions that meet the needs of various departments.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in big data technologies like SnowFlake, DataBricks, Spark, and NoSQL databases. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with various departments and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and managing data systems, analyzing requirements, migrating data from legacy systems, modeling data, performance optimization, cost-effective solutions, security and backup procedures, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Manage Data Systems: Ensure data security and compliance by creating blueprints for data infrastructure and standards.
  • Analyze Requirements: Analyze structural requirements for new software and applications.
  • Migrate Data: Migrate data from legacy systems to new solutions.
  • Model Data: Design conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts.
  • Performance Optimization: Improve system performance by conducting tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new elements.
  • Cost-Effective Solutions: Identify and implement cost-effective strategies to fulfill the platform's objectives without compromising on quality and efficiency.
  • Security and Backup: Define security and backup procedures to protect data.
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify future needs and requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing solutions and architecture.
  • Data Modeling: Ability to design conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
  • ETL Processes: Experience with Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and tools.
  • Big Data Technologies: Knowledge of big data technologies like SnowFlake, DataBricks, Spark, and NoSQL databases.
  • Cloud-Based Solutions: Experience with cloud-based solutions (AWS or Microsoft).
  • System, Network, and Operating System Experience.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Communication and Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
