Job Description:

You are a seasoned cybersecurity professional with a passion for defending organizations against evolving cyber threats. As a Security Officer, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of shaping a secure digital landscape while directly influencing policy-making and cybersecurity strategy.

This is a high-impact, mission-critical role that requires you to stay ahead of emerging threats. You will navigate the demanding landscape of continuous monitoring and proactive threat mitigation, making it both rewarding and challenging.

Responsibilities:
- Design and implement security policies, protocols, and standards that safeguard data integrity and confidentiality across the organization.
- Document incident response procedures and maintain security protocols.
- Conduct regular security audits and prepare compliance reports.
- Perform daily security monitoring and vulnerability assessments.
- Coordinate incident response efforts and provide security awareness training for employees.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; CISSP, CISM, or CEH certification preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
- Strong skills in threat analysis, vulnerability assessment, risk management, incident response, and knowledge of security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO/IEC 27001).
- Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, firewalls, IDS/IPS systems, and endpoint protection solutions.
- Proven experience with incident response, risk assessment, and a strong understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA).
- Analytical thinking, strong attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in English.
