Purchasing Expertise Manager

About the Role:

The cost-optimization team is organized by major product lines. This position reports to the procurement head.

You will drive full cost reduction for procurement (including capital expenditure) together with all procurement colleagues related to your specific area.

This is a cross-functional role, where you steer the cost-out program together with colleagues in other procurement teams, research and development, product costing, and product line teams.

Your goal is to reduce product costs leveraging all available procurement tools and methods.

We are seeking an experienced professional who can analyze complex business problems and develop innovative solutions to optimize our procurement processes.

To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as strong communication and collaboration abilities.

In addition to your technical skills, you should have a solid understanding of industry trends and market conditions.

You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to achieve greater efficiency and productivity.

As a key member of our procurement team, you will contribute to the development and implementation of procurement strategies that align with our company's overall business objectives.
