About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all areas of transportation for daily operations.

  • Guaranteeing the efficient movement of goods through our customers' logistics networks to ensure material availability.
  • Performing customer service tasks such as communication with customers, suppliers, and forwarding companies.
  • Coordinating and solving freight exceptions while ensuring requested lead time.
  • Optimizing daily transports in terms of trade lane, lead time, supply chain security, and costs.
  • Initiating process improvements to further develop customer solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective transportation management systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes.
  • Analyze data to inform decision-making and drive business results.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Relevant practical experience in the transportation industry.
  • Ability to quickly prioritize during busy periods while still communicating proactively in a friendly and solution-oriented way.
  • Experienced user of MS Office with strong communication skills in English and/or German, additional languages are a plus.
  • You are interested in the field of logistics and enjoy working in a dynamic and international environment.
