Job Opportunity

This role will serve as a specialist in the domain of Tanks and External Components, contributing to the development and continuous improvement of internal design and verification tools.

About the Role
  • Perform routine maintenance, testing, and debugging of internal design tools to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide technical assistance to users via direct contact or email.
  • Collect feedback from the design engineering community to enhance tool functionality.
  • Support standardization initiatives by promoting technical standards and standard drawings.
  • Contribute to training programs through creation of manuals, courses, workshops, and pilots.
  • Research and define analytical models for structural calculations to support decision-making.
  • Verify and validate tools used throughout all stages of the design-to-manufacturing process.
  • Offer technical support to design engineers across global units.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience with PTC Creo Parametric software.
  • Knowledge of programming languages; additional skills are an asset.
  • Familiarity with structural simulation tools (FEM) is beneficial.
  • Advanced English language proficiency; other languages are considered advantageous.
  • Experience in multicultural and remote work environments.
  • Availability for occasional travel.
  • Background in the design and manufacturing of power transformers is an added advantage.
