Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the development of technologies and simulations applied to power transformers.

  • The ideal candidate will propose and develop new technologies, products, and processes for both core and shell-type transformers.
  • Key responsibilities include mechanical design, manufacturing, and testing of prototypes, as well as leading and managing R&D projects independently.
  • Maintenance of technical standards and design tools for transformers is also crucial.
  • The successful candidate will prepare technical reports and specifications, participate in educational programs, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable internal and external standards, procedures, and guidelines.

You should hold a Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, have experience in R&D projects, engineering, or academic research, and possess strong collaboration skills in international teams with excellent interpersonal abilities. Fluency in spoken and written English is also required.

Requirements

Key qualifications for this role include:

  • Advanced knowledge in transformer technology
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling software (CREO, SolidWorks, SolidEdge)
  • Experience with advanced numerical simulations (e.g., fluid dynamics, mechanical simulations) and tools such as Ansys, Fluent, and CREO

A strong background in R&D projects, engineering, or academic research is essential for this position.

You should be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
