Electrical Systems Installation and Maintenance

As a skilled journeyman electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, inspection, troubleshooting, repair, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems and components.

  • Ensure the safe and efficient operation of electrical power distribution and generating equipment.
  • Perform operations and maintenance duties to maintain power to telecommunications equipment and maintain the facility's physical electrical distribution system in good repair.
  • Conduct electrical work experience including electrical installation in commercial and industrial categories.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Be CAC eligible and/or able to obtain a Common Access Card.
  • Be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Possess a journeyman electrician license.
  • Ability to read/write and speak English.
  • Four years of electrical work experience.
Desirable Skills

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Thorough knowledge of Electrical Codes.
  • Ability to manage multiple job sites and priorities.
  • Basic computer skills.
Working Conditions

This role involves working in an indoor and/or outdoor environment with very adverse and harsh conditions, including some industrial production environment conditions.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role are light, requiring exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
