Job Title: S&OP Specialist

Vertiv Co is seeking a highly skilled S&OP Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for implementing and developing the SIOP process for the LATAM region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SIOP Process Development: Implement and develop the SIOP process for the LATAM region, ensuring alignment with global standards and best practices.
  • Mathematical Modeling: Select and apply the most suitable mathematical models to support business decisions for the SIOP process.
  • Forecasting and Planning: Analyze monthly forecasts and demand plans, identifying areas for improvement and making recommendations to resolve issues.
  • Constrained Demand Planning: Build and present constrained demand plans, suggesting mitigation strategies to address potential issues.
  • Supplier Relationships: Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
  • SIOP Meetings: Coordinate and lead SIOP meetings, ensuring alignment on plans and obtaining necessary sign-offs from leadership.
  • Global Team Collaboration: Interact with the SIOP Global team, creating and leading communication of monthly plans and attending to any requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive ongoing improvements to the business SIOP process, delivering enhanced maturity and results.
  • KPI Management: Ensure accurate and timely sharing of KPIs with the business, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Ad-Hoc Support: Provide support for ad-hoc requests as needed, ensuring seamless integration with the operations team.
  • Planning Leader Backup: Serve as a backup Planning Leader, ensuring continuity and expertise in the absence of the primary leader.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, business administration, supply chain management, or mathematics.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of analytical experience, with a strong background in problem-solving and collaboration.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, Smartsheet, and other business applications, with excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Language: Proficiency in English language, with Portuguese as an added value.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated capability to execute through challenges, with a strong ability to interact with different levels within the organization.
