Job Title: Technical Leader for Rotating Equipment.

Job Summary:
Wabtec Corporation is seeking a seasoned Technical Leader to spearhead the development of innovative rotating equipment solutions for the mining industry. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of heavy industrial and electrical/mechanical design environments, coupled with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the specification, customer interface, supply chain interface, service interface, validation testing, and other assigned items for rotating equipment.
  • Collaborate with product management, lead systems engineer, and customers to ensure requirements are met and documented properly.
  • Lead and coordinate customer field testing to verify and validate design, performance, or application capability.
  • Interface directly with designers, structural engineers, gear engineers, production, supplier, and test resources to ensure electric machine design meets all requirements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, physics, or computer science discipline.
  • Strong proven experience in a heavy industrial/electrical/mechanical equipment design environment.
