Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead our transportation procurement operations. This role is responsible for managing carrier contracts and processes to ensure efficient delivery while optimizing costs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in program or project management, with a strong background in data analysis and statistical modeling. They will be proficient in Python or similar programming languages, with expertise in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

The successful candidate will have the ability to create automated reporting solutions, analyze data and find patterns to optimize Amazon Costs, and drive supplier relationships and negotiations.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and manage cost-effective transportation contracts;
  2. Build/maintain relationships with 3P carriers;
  3. Evaluate contracts and conduct performance audits;
  4. Perform cost analysis and establish improvement benchmarks;
  5. Implement risk management procedures;
  6. Collaborate with legal for contract reviews;
  7. Drive supplier relationships and negotiations;
  8. Ensure compliance with company spending policies;
  9. Lead procurement metrics and improvement initiatives;
  10. Track KPIs and develop action plans for savings goals;
  11. Analyze data and find patterns to optimize Amazon Costs;

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree;
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams;
  • Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL;
  • Advanced English Level.

Bonus Points

  • Proficiency in Python or similar programming languages (R, SQL);
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau);
  • Strong background in data analysis and statistical modeling;
  • Knowledge of machine learning concepts for demand forecasting.
