Infrastructure Automation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Automation Specialist to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our products and tools. You will work with modern IaaC tools and scripting languages to automate the lifecycle of servers on our platform.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about infrastructure automation and wants to bring the experience of the cloud to bare metal.

About the Role
  1. Operational Readiness: Continuously improve our operational readiness by implementing best practices and processes.
  2. Lifecycle Management: Design and develop solutions to automate bare metal lifecycle management using cloud native tools.
  3. Collaboration: Collaborate with other teams to implement and manage the infrastructure supporting our applications.
  4. Problem Escalation: Escalate and track problems and incidents to the appropriate teams.
  5. Improvement Identification: Identify areas of improvement in Observability, Monitoring, and code.
  6. Documentation: Document all developed solutions and results.
Requirements
  1. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
  2. System Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of Linux/Unix systems.
  3. Automation Tools: Experience with automation tools.
  4. Kubernetes and Containers: Experience with Kubernetes and building and managing containers and container images.
  5. Terraform: A passion for infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
  6. Git: Working knowledge of Git.
  7. Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages like Bash, Python, Go, or Ruby.
  8. Security and Operations: Knowledge of security and operations best practices.
