We are seeking a proactive professional to join our organization in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
About the Position:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading company designing and building floating facilities that produce oil. We strive to reduce emissions and invest in renewable energy solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Analyze telecom requirements and determine specifications
- Define test protocols and procedures
- Provide technical support and lead teams on telecom issues
- Keep abreast of Certification Authorities (ABS) requirements
- Perform system power consumption calculations and define cable schedules
- Support Services Sales group and Proposal/Estimating Dept.
Requirements for Success:
- Minimum 15 years' experience in Oil & Gas industry with emphasis on Telecoms Engineering and/or Construction and/or Project management
- 5 years' petrochemical experience with focus on FPSO/FSO production installations
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Mandatory CompEx Hazardous Areas IEC & 17 training
