Job Title: Vehicle Maintenance Technician
About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for performing timely and quality maintenance on our vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Repair: Perform regular maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
- Documentation: Accurately document all work completed, including repair orders and parts ordering.
- Team Support: Guide and support junior technicians and trainees to help them develop their skills.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Vocational training from an accredited automotive-related vocational school is preferred.
- Certification: ASE Master certification is preferred.
- Experience: Four years of experience in fleet, automotive, or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance.
Skills and Abilities:
- Computer Skills: Proficient in operating personal computers.
- Equipment Knowledge: Knowledge of equipment and testing tools associated with motorized equipment repair.
- Interpersonal Skills: Demonstration of teamwork and interpersonal skills.
Working Conditions:
- Lifting and Maneuvering: Ability to lift 50 pounds and maneuver weights above 50 pounds with assistance.
- Noisy Work Environment: Work in noisy, non-air-conditioned/heated environments.
- Independence: Ability to work without supervision for extended periods.
