Job Opportunity

We are seeking a Tax Compliance Specialist to assist in establishing and optimizing tax processes for Brazil.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and review low-to-mid complexity tax compliance routines, including withholding taxes and ISS.
  • Implement high-complexity tax compliance routines, encompassing CIT, PIS/COFINS, and other relevant regulations.
  • Provide domestic tax support to business partners.
  • Monitor invoice issuance and ensure timely tax compliance.
  • Oversee tax compliance outsourcing partners and maintain effective relationships.
  • Respond to complex internal tax inquiries and collaborate with business partners on tax-related matters.
  • Stay updated on tax judicial and administrative precedents impacting the company's operations and financial standing.
  • Offer ad hoc tax support for product launches and other business initiatives.
  • Coordinate tax consulting efforts with external counsel.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English is mandatory.
  • At least 6 years of experience in related roles within large multinational corporations or Big 4 firms, backed by a bachelor's degree in Law or Accounting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
  • Detailed knowledge of Brazilian tax laws and analytical skills are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are crucial.
  • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities are necessary.
  • The ideal candidate should be a team player with a 'hands-on' approach.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to diverse situations.
