Support Roles in Education

You will provide support to Head Teachers in teaching classes, preparing content and managing students in school environments.

  • Support teachers in classrooms, collaborating on guidance for students to enhance learning;
  • Assist with distributing and collecting materials;
  • Participate in implementing didactic-pedagogical projects by the school;
  • Keep classrooms organized with requested materials;
  • Be responsible for decorating walls, doors, tables, and bulletin boards around the school;
  • Adapt activities for students with special educational needs;
  • E nsure safety, monitoring students during activities, and intervening when necessary to prevent accidents. Maintain this stance for all school students;
  • Receive students at entrances and exits, ensuring safety standards and delivering them to authorized personnel;
  • Acompany students during meals, ensuring everyone eats well;
  • Manage the class in times of teacher absence or unavailability;
  • Record student activities through videos and photos, sending them to the Head Teacher within established deadlines without disrupting the classroom dynamics;
  • Attend academic meetings, educational conferences, and professional development workshops to maintain and improve professional competence;
  • Participate in school events open to families;
  • Familiarize yourself with general guidelines (Language Policy, Teachers Handbook, Assessment Policy).

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy;
  • Desirable 2 years of classroom experience;
  • Experience with Early Childhood Education;
  • Proficiency in English; Bilingualism; Early Childhood education (specific for Early Childhood Education); IB Methodology; Child Development; Digital Thinking; Caring Profile; Interpersonal Relationships; Conflict Management; Creativity.
