Linux System Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned Linux Systems Engineer with expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux system administration, automation with Ansible, and deep knowledge of Linux patching, scripting, and GIT version control.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and manage scalable Linux system infrastructure.
  • Develop and maintain robust Ansible playbooks for configuration management and deployment automation.
  • Perform advanced Linux patching, security updates, and OS hardening to ensure optimal system performance and stability.
  • Write efficient Bash scripts for automation and system maintenance tasks.
  • Administer and support Red Hat Satellite for system provisioning, patching, and lifecycle management.
  • Troubleshoot complex Linux system issues through meticulous analysis and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent environments and seamless integration.
  • Manage source code using GIT repositories to facilitate collaboration and version control.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in Linux System Administration.
  • Strong proficiency in Ansible and bash scripting, with the ability to write efficient and well-structured code.
  • Proficient in GIT for version control, with experience managing multiple repositories and collaborating with teams.
  • Experience working in secure IT environments, with a strong understanding of security best practices and compliance requirements.
