Business Systems Analyst

The Business Systems Analyst role is a pivotal position that requires expertise in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on agile development projects. As part of a development team, this individual will contribute to the creation of significant new features and major enhancements to the payment platform.
This role involves collaborating with Product Managers to interpret and define business requirements, building and maintaining the team backlog, and defining epics, stories, functional test requirements, and acceptance criteria. Additionally, the Business Systems Analyst will review and prioritize the backlog to facilitate iteration planning, collaborate with the development team to elaborate stories and acceptance criteria, assist with sequencing of technical infrastructure for hosting new business functionality, participate in agile ceremonies, feature demonstrations, and retrospectives, and ensure solutions are delivered in accordance with risk, regulatory, and compliance guidelines.
In terms of skills and qualifications, the ideal candidate should possess excellent listening skills, competent verbal and written communication skills, knowledge of payments technology platform features and market requirements, and the ability to translate epics, themes, and stories into system features that address client needs. Preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of experience working as a product owner in agile development projects and banking industry product knowledge.

Bachelor's degree in Technology-related field.
