Classroom Support Educator

You will support our Head Teachers in teaching classes, preparing content and managing students in a school environment.
Main Responsibilities:- Assist the Head Teacher in providing guidance to students during activities to enhance learning;
- Distribute and collect materials as required by the Head Teacher;
- Participate in didactic-pedagogical projects implemented by the school;
- Keep the classroom organized with materials requested by the Head Teacher;
- Decorate walls, doors, tables, and bulletin boards around the school;
- Adapt activities for students with special educational needs;
- Evaluate safety standards and ensure constant supervision of students during activities;
- Receive students at entrance and exit of the school while ensuring safety standards are met;
- Accompany students at meal times to ensure everyone eats well;
- Manage the class in times of absence or temporary unavailability of the Head Teacher;
- Record student activities through videos and photos and share them with the Head Teacher within a predetermined deadline;
- Attend Academic Meetings, educational conferences, and development workshops to improve professional competence;
- Participate in school events open to families;
- Follow school guidelines (Language Policy, Teachers Handbook, Assessment Policy).
- Bachelor's degree in Pedagogy;
- Desirable 2 years of classroom experience;
- Experience with Early Childhood Education;
- Proficiency in English (C1 or higher level);
- Bilingualism;
- Early Childhood education knowledge specific to Early Childhood Education;
- IB Methodology knowledge;
- Child Development knowledge;
- Digital Thinking skills;
- Caring Profile;
- Interpersonal Relationships skills;
- Conflict Management skills;
- Creativity skills.
This role is based in Curitiba and requires a commitment of 44 hours per week.
Skillset: We seek an individual who possesses exceptional communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of child development and be able to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles.
