About Playtech, a global gaming industry leader, is seeking a Risk Desk Manager to join their team in São Paulo – SP. As the company continues to drive excellence and innovation across the sector, this role will play a critical part in ensuring a safe, engaging, and entertaining gaming experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading, developing, and overseeing the Risk Management Unit, overseeing day-to-day handling of risk management cases, managing complex chargeback cases, and acting as the point of escalation for internal and external communications related to serious risk concerns.

- Lead the Risk Management Unit: Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize exposure and maximize returns.
- Risk Case Handling: Oversee the day-to-day handling of risk management cases, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
- Chargeback Management: Manage complex chargeback cases, compromised accounts, and fund recovery efforts.
- Escalation Point: Act as the point of escalation for internal and external communications related to serious risk concerns.
Requirements:
- Fluent English: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Native Brazilian Portuguese Speaker: Fluency in Portuguese is required.
- 4+ Years of Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong background in risk management.
- Risk and Payments Expertise: Excellent knowledge of the risk and payments field.
- Strong Decision-Making Skills: Ability to make informed decisions quickly and effectively.
- Team Player: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
