Job Overview:

This role is responsible for maintaining and enhancing supply chain operations with our logistics partners. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will actively monitor key performance indicators, ensure compliance, conduct audits, provide exceptional internal customer service, and lead process improvement and cost savings projects.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide key supply chain support for marketing and promotional activity by collaborating in weekly activity meetings
  • Lead daily order volume forecasting for logistics partners and track fulfillment performance
  • Ensure logistics partners have all promotional details and that inventory is in place at all distribution centers time of promotion
  • Escalate operational related issues to leadership prior to promotion to limit cost and complaint issues
Compliance - Safety, Quality, Audits, Internal Controls:
  • Lead safety and quality compliance within logistics operations, ensuring working environments are up to our standards
  • Ensure all safety related issues are root caused, resolved, and escalated to the appropriate parties
  • Ensure logistics partner distribution centers are prepared and excel in all compliance related audits (i.e. TQM, RSA, ISO etc)
  • Lead all internal audit preparation (i.e. NMA/NGA/NQMS) and be capable to answer audit questions
  • Ongoing support of internal controls team to improve supply chain processes
NCE - Ops Reviews, OMP, Process Improvement:
  • NCE participant in Weekly and Monthly Operational Reviews at national level
  • Participate in annual logistics Operations Master Plan (OMP)
  • Ensure high priority issues are reviewed, actions are implemented, and resolutions are sustained
  • Participate in GEMBA, LER, and other process improvement activities as project leader
Operations and Consumer Complaints:
  • Oversee daily order fulfillment backlog and determine when distribution centers need to be shut off due to backlog
  • Lead consumer complaints process and resolution for B2C and Trade
  • Facilitate weekly and monthly complaint reviews with key stakeholders
  • Ensure teams identify root causes and solutions for consumer complaints
  • Lead employee engagement program by developing and implementing processes for recognizing employees
  • Approve daily stock adjustments for logistics team
  • Lead SKU slotting by issuing weekly planogram based on marketing plans
Other Responsibilities:
  • Support daily logistics requests from logistics partners, HQ, Marketing, B2C, Trade and Internal Controls
  • Quarterly inventory count auditor at main distribution center
  • Participate in warehouse visits and tours for visitors
  • Review, update, implement, and sustain procedures for logistics operations
  • Lead special projects related to fulfillment, systems, and logistics operations
  • Ensure after hours coverage as needed for order flow issues during peak periods and month-end
