Supply Chain Finance Manager

Job Description:

This role involves providing strategic financial guidance to the supply chain management team, ensuring sound operational and financial decisions. The successful candidate will develop and calculate key performance indicators, provide financial advice, support monthly close processes, and analyze supply chain performance.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of experience in a related field, preferably in the food industry. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and calculate metrics/key performance indicators
  • Provide financial advice to the supply chain management team
  • Support monthly close process including timely monthly reporting of performance
  • Support the preparation of the financial supply chain budget/plan & support product standard costs
  • Provide solid analysis of supply chain performance on a monthly basis vs plan, prior year, and forecasts
  • Instill strong cost control and planning discipline to supply chain team in controlling costs
  • Work with plant/corporate finance on several initiatives including providing cost information for innovation and cost reduction projects, identifying cost/performance improvement opportunities and leadership of companywide initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of three to five years of related experience, food industry experience preferred
  • A change agent—having professionalized business processes and a team
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity, change, and a dynamic business environment
  • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills under pressing time constraints
  • Ability to prioritize and control multiple tasks at the same time
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships across various functional areas both internally and externally
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or Finance
