Job Description

The position is for a Regional Accountant to manage accounting operations in the Inter-America region. The role involves monitoring and managing accounting operations of six sub-regional offices, recording transactions, preparing financial statements, and managing cash and financial flows.


Key Responsibilities
  • Regional Accounting & Financial Management: Monitor and manage accounting operations of six sub-regional offices, record transactions, prepare, validate, and report financial statements.
  • Tax Compliance & Regulatory Oversight: Prepare and review tax returns, ensure accuracy and timely submission, liaise with auditors.
  • Regional Accounting Expertise & Internal Controls: Act as main accounting reference for six sub-regional offices, provide technical guidance, ensure compliance with group's reporting guidelines.
  • Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration: Provide financial analyses, collaborate with global office on financial reporting, regional alignment.
  • Supervision & Reporting: This position reports to Regional Secretary.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • At least 5 years of experience in accounting management, ideally in a regional or multi-entity environment.
  • Degree in Accounting, Master's degree preferred.

Benefits
