Are you a seasoned compliance professional looking to take on a challenging role in the dynamic Latin American market? As Compliance Manager for Samsung's Latin America business, you will be responsible for implementing and overseeing the company's compliance program across regional and subsidiary levels.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join a global leader in technology and make a real impact on our operations in Latin America. As a key member of the Legal and Compliance team, you will work closely with stakeholders to ensure adherence to all applicable laws and regulations, including labor, fair competition, anti-bribery, and anti-corruption laws.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and oversee the compliance program for Samsung's Latin America business.
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce compliance policies and procedures to ensure ongoing adherence to relevant regulations.
  • Conduct due diligence and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure day-to-day compliance with periodic activities such as internal audits, communication campaigns, and trainings.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks specific to the Latin America business through effective controls and monitoring.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Law required.
  • Prior experience at a multinational company and/or law firms.
  • Specialization or Master's Degree in Compliance, Corporate Governance, or related corporate areas desirable.
  • Compliance certification (CCEP, CPC-A) considered a plus.
  • Advanced English Skills.
  • Advanced Spanish Skills.
  • Experience and knowledge of handling compliance programs at a corporate environment with desirable knowledge of the Latin America region.
