Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Engineer to join our team.

This critical role will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and operation of all machinery that supports the critical load inside a Data Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment in leased data centers
  • Maximize data center availability and ensure optimal operational efficiency
  • Reduce high-impact and human-error data center incidents
  • Implement cost/energy efficiency initiatives
  • Support emergency preparedness and response plans
  • Coordinate data center audits and compliance verification
  • Ensure routine reporting for Power/Temperature/Relative Humidity and SLA monitoring
  • Establish strong working relationships with engineering groups and landlord partners
  • Share best practices across the data center portfolio
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience in data center or critical environment facility operations
  • Technical College degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Ability to communicate well in English and Portuguese
  • Ability to work 100% onsite in Rio de Janeiro
