Legal Contract Specialist

The Legal Contract Specialist will play a key role in our team by negotiating, reviewing, and drafting business contracts. This position requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of staff.

  • Negotiate and draft complex business contracts, including license agreements, settlements, and NDA's.
  • Ensure contract compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational policies.
  • Monitor the contract process to ensure adherence to organizational guidelines and policy.
  • Act as a liaison between the organization and vendors, participating in pre-contract discussions, negotiations, and contract changes.
Responsibilities:
  • Assess commercial risks of contracts.
  • Provide general legal advice and interpret contracts.
  • Perform other general legal work as assigned, including research and compliance verification.
Requirements:
  • College degree from an accredited law school.
  • 5-8 years of experience in-house, law firm, governmental agency, or self-regulatory organization experience.
  • Excellent drafting and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and logically in written and oral form.
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including senior management.
