As a Financial Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial stability and accuracy of our hotels.

About this Role:
  • You will assist in controlling accounting reconciliations, making accounting entries when necessary, performing inventory, controlling agency commissions, and covering remaining financial positions as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Perform reconciliations of agency commissions
  2. Check the agency commissions report with the Reservation Department
  3. Respond to requests or complaints about agency commissions
  4. Request invoices for payment of national commissions
  5. Follow up on receipt of credit cards in banks, ensuring timely receipt of these payments
  6. Perform reconciliation of credit card accounts
  7. Respond to customers' and credit card companies' requests or complaints when there are divergences
  8. Follow receipts of payments made by customers
  9. Assist the Credit Manager in collecting pending invoices
  10. Send the forecast of receipts to the General Cashier
  11. Perform accounting reconciliations determined by the Director of Finance / Assistant Director of Finance
  12. Assist in monthly closings
  13. Prepare counting adjustments and provisions at the end of the month
  14. Analyze variations in income and asset accounts
  15. Participate in inventory determined by the Director of Finance / Assistant Director of Finance
Requirements:
  • A degree or studying in related fields is required
  • Basic English skills are essential
  • Familiarity with accounting principles is necessary
  • Financial experience, preferably in the hospitality industry, is beneficial
  • The ability to analyze and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is crucial
  • The ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently is vital
  • A sense of organization and planning is necessary
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Team work and good interpersonal relationships are essential
  • Proficiency in computer science, including Excel and Word, is desirable
  • A proactive approach to meet deadlines and objectives is necessary
