Bloomberg Intelligence is seeking a highly skilled interest rate and foreign exchange strategist to cover the Latin America local debt markets. As a key member of our growing fixed income, currency, and commodity research business, you will work closely with our global interest rate and foreign exchange strategy teams, as well as partners within the Bloomberg ecosystem, to generate qualitative and quantitative research for our global user base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of Latin America local debt markets, including macroeconomic trends, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
  • Produce high-quality research reports, including market analysis, forecasts, and recommendations, to support our clients' investment decisions.
  • Collaborate with our global research teams to identify emerging trends and opportunities in the fixed income and currency markets.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our clients, including asset managers, pension funds, and other institutional investors.
  • Stay up-to-date with market developments and regulatory changes, and provide timely and insightful analysis to our clients.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in analyzing and/or trading fixed income and currency markets.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex market analysis into clear and actionable insights.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg data and the Bloomberg Terminal, with the ability to leverage these tools to support research and analysis.
