Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Ametek, Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating the receipt and shipment of goods, preparing necessary documentation, and maintaining accurate records of inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with freight forwarding and customs authorities to ensure smooth receipt and shipment of goods
- Prepare and manage necessary documentation for shipping and receipt, including customs clearance and invoices
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including tracking of received and shipped goods, equipment, and materials
- Resolve nonconformity related to goods receipt and delivery, and ensure compliance with physical movement of material and SAP system
- Organize and maintain a clean and tidy working space, and ensure accurate quantity of goods in the warehouse
- Participate in the organization of the yearly inventory, and maintain daily records on waste movement
- Coordinate customs clearance and all customs formalities related to waste, and prepare necessary documentation
- Participate in the optimization of logistics processes and operation of ERP system
- Report directly to Warehouse Supervisor regarding own work and potential challenges
