Job Title: Philanthropy Executive

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of trusts, foundations, and individual philanthropists with the capacity to give up to £25,000.
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with supporters, helping them feel connected to Refuge's work.
  • Support the wider Philanthropy team in developing funding proposals, reporting impact to donors, and ensuring stewardship throughout the supporter journey.

About This Role:

The role of Philanthropy Executive is a vital part of our Fundraising, Communications and Policy Directorate. We are looking for someone who is:

  • A confident relationship-builder with great communication skills.
  • Experienced or interested in fundraising, eager to grow their career in philanthropy.
  • Organised with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • A team player committed to feminism, equality, and inclusion.
  • Someone who takes initiative and is excited to help shape our growing mid-level giving programme.

  • Confident communication skills to build and maintain strong relationships with supporters.
  • Experience or interest in fundraising, ideally with a focus on philanthropy.
