Senior Billing Operations Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Billing Operations Specialist to join our finance team. The successful candidate will assist the finance team in executing billing operations and implementing scalable systems and processes efficiently.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Review contracts, invoices, and service orders to ensure accurate and timely billing.
  • Manage the billing engine to verify platform accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
  • Collaborate with delivery teams to resolve invoice issues and implement process improvements.
  • Reconcile cost of goods sold (COGS) accruals and bills on a monthly basis.
  • Assist with credit and risk analysis for customers.
  • Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and coordinate with other departments to improve billing/accounting efficiency.
  • Support ad-hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, minimum 1 year AR/billing experience.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to prioritize competing demands and work with multiple computer systems.
  • Ease of learning and adaptation is essential.
  • Experience in AdTech or technology startups preferred.
  • NetSuite expertise is required.
