About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Quality Leader to join our team at Siemens Energy. As a key member of our Project Quality and Support organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality of our projects aligns with customer expectations while adhering to all relevant standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Implement Global Quality Strategy: Develop and implement a global project quality setup, including structure and personnel, to ensure consistent quality standards across all projects.
  2. Strategic Workforce Planning and Development: Lead strategic workforce planning and development, including competency management, to ensure the team has the necessary skills and expertise to deliver high-quality projects.
  3. Quality Requirements Management: Determine product and process-related quality requirements specified in customer specifications and international laws and regulations.
  4. Quality Control Plan Development and Implementation: Prepare and implement quality control plans internally and externally to ensure compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.
  5. Quality Inspection and Audit Management: Manage and monitor quality inspection resources and audits on projects to ensure quality standards are met.
  6. Project-Specific Quality Planning: Plan and ensure the quality of project-specific supplies and services, both internal and external.
  7. Quality Metrics Development and Management: Develop, implement, and manage metrics for efficient quality management in projects and for the global Compression portfolio.
  8. Customer Interface and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customer quality-related inquiries and concerns.
  9. Internal and External Audits: Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  10. Quality Escalation and Issue Resolution: Act as the go-to escalation point for all quality-related issues within projects and work with the sales team to ensure contractual specifications accurately reflect quality commitments.
  11. Continuous Improvement: Employ systematic quality methods to analyze and resolve non-conformities throughout the project lifecycle, using analytical skills to learn from every project and turn challenges into opportunities for growth.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or a related field.
  2. Experience: Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience, including significant exposure to the oil and gas industry, power plant projects, or EPC projects.
  3. Quality Knowledge and Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of quality requirements and demonstrated experience in the Gas Compression industry.
  4. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze data with a broad view in developing creative issue resolution.
  5. Leadership and Management Skills: Proven leadership or managerial experience, with the ability to inspire and lead teams.
  6. Global Teamwork and Communication Skills: Strong commitment to working in a global team environment, with a focus on inclusivity and engagement.
  7. Change Management and Quality Orientation: Innovator with a change management and quality-oriented mindset.
  8. Travel and Communication: Willingness and ability to travel internationally and exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English.
