Senior Contract Management Specialist

About the Role:

The Senior Contract Management Specialist will be responsible for managing contracts and commercial aspects of projects under the direction of the Contract Manager(s). They will work closely with the Project Director/Manager to ensure that all contractual and commercial procedures are followed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage contracts and commercial aspects of projects, including insurance certificates, bank guarantees, parent company guarantees, contract document review, preparation of contract summaries, and other related tasks.
  • Assist Contract Managers with project kick-off activities, including contract reviews, insurance certificates, and other related tasks.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts and commercial aspects of projects.
  • Prepare contractual and commercial correspondence as required.
  • Participate in project risk meetings and assist Contract Managers with developing and preparing project change/variation proposals for clients.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 2-3 years of working experience in contracts/construction contracting, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Good technical background and knowledge of the oil and gas construction industry.
  • Experience in contract management, legal, or construction contracting is highly desirable.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
