Key Responsibilities- Conduct simple methods of material characterization, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Accurately document results and maintain up-to-date records, providing valuable insights for our team.
- Report deviations from usual results, facilitating prompt action and ensuring quality control.
- Develop expertise related to products and processes, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
- Report data to the supervisor, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Send national and international samples, maintaining relationships with external partners.
- Control and analyze raw material and finished product samples, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Control and maintain laboratory records of performed analyses, providing a clear audit trail.
- Maintain and clean the laboratory, including scheduled equipment maintenance, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist in resolving quality non-conformities, working closely with the quality team.
- Active in departmental safety initiatives, such as observations and reporting, promoting a culture of safety.
- Operate in compliance with site safety policies, including material handling and waste disposal, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Complete secondary education and/or a technical course in chemistry, demonstrating a strong foundation in scientific principles.
- Advanced English language skills, enabling effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in agriculture, mining, oil and gas, and/or infrastructure, providing a valuable perspective and skillset.
