Program Management Opportunity in the Americas

The Inter-American Development Bank is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Program Specialist in the Americas region.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the design and implementation of programs and projects in the Americas region
  • Provide technical support to teams working on program development and implementation
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize program needs and objectives
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and stakeholders in the region

Key Requirements:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field, such as public policy, international development, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in program management, with a focus on policy development and implementation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Fluency in Spanish and/or Portuguese, with ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Experience working in a multilateral organization or government agency
  • Knowledge of regional issues and trends, with ability to analyze and interpret data
