Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled Functional QA Analyst to be part of our quality assurance team. As a key member, you will conduct thorough testing on various game platforms, identify and document bugs, and work closely with developers and designers to ensure the highest quality of our games.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing on PC, console, and mobile game platforms.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs and issues using our tracking system.
  • Perform playtesting to ensure overall quality and user experience.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and other QA team members to understand game mechanics and features.
  • Communicate effectively to ensure issues are resolved and improvements are made.
  • Create and maintain detailed test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
  • Provide clear and concise feedback and reports on testing progress and issues encountered.
  • Stay updated with the latest QA methodologies and game industry trends.
  • Participate in QA team meetings, providing insights and suggestions for process improvement.

Necessary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Fundamental understanding of game development processes and lifecycle.
  • Awareness of bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Test Rail).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and passion for delivering high-quality games.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Deseable Skills:

  • Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal Engine).
  • Development and programming languages like C++ and C#.
  • Test automation.
  • Knowledge of scripting or programming languages.
