Job Description

This is a senior leadership role responsible for spearheading projects in the manufacturing IT project portfolio and driving value to the operations function.

  • Manages all aspects of the project from requirements definition to implementation and production support.
  • Develops and documents project requests including benefits, costs, estimated timelines and stakeholders.
  • Oversees project budgets and actuals.
  • Evaluates technical solutions composes vendor comparison matrixes and makes solution recommendations.
  • Learns new technologies as required.
  • Collaborates with multiple business and IT teams to develop detailed project schedules monitor project success track and raise risks and issues and lead projects to successful outcomes.
  • Creates process documentation including functional and technical design documents data flow diagrams network diagrams architecture diagrams standard operating procedures training documentation and other documentation as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have experience with project management tools and practices work process analysis improvement processes and systems development methodology. They will also have knowledge and experience using supply chain-related technologies including ERP systems MES systems manufacturing applications Industrial Internet of Things related technologies Network Administration Database administration or similar.

Additional skills include building effective working relationships within the team other IT areas and the business community demonstrating mastery of skills necessary to support all levels of supply chain applications control scaling labeling desktop computing and network. Understanding hardware software and applications from a user's standpoint ensures effective project solutions and defect resolution.
