Transportation Specialist Job Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Transportation Specialist to provide safe and efficient transportation services to individuals in our Adult Intellectual and Developmental Disability (IDD) Day Programs.

Job Summary:

This part-time role involves transporting clients between residential homes, company programs, and offices. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Schedule Development: Develop and implement effective transportation schedules that meet the needs of clients.
  • Transportation Services: Provide safe and reliable transportation services to clients, including transportation to appointments and programs.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Maintain vehicles in good condition and perform regular maintenance checks to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Mileage Tracking: Accurately complete daily mileage logs and other required forms.
Requirements:
  • Age and Experience: At least 18 years of age and 2 years of driving experience.
  • Driving Ability: Ability to drive a passenger van.
  • Geographic Knowledge: Knowledge of the geographic area served by the program.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Independent Work: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
