This role offers a chance to take part in the planning and preparation of production schedules for manufacturing device components used by pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical and medical device companies.

Key responsibilities include analyzing production specifications, plant capacity data, and determining manufacturing processes, tools, and other resource requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze production performance vs. plant and division goals, providing timely feedback to appropriate personnel.
  • Plan and schedule workflow for production according to established manufacturing capability and lead times.
  • Monitor progress of open purchase orders and determine optimal inventory levels.
  • Negotiate contracts within budgetary limitations and scope of authority.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, be detail-oriented with exceptional time management and multi-tasking ability.

A bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business or a relevant field is required, and a minimum of 1 year of production planning experience using an advanced MRP system within a manufacturing environment is preferred.
