Job Overview:
As a vital part of an IT team, the IT Support Specialist plays a pivotal role in maintaining IT systems and delivering exceptional support to all corporate users.
This position involves managing IT assets, coordinating with third-party vendors, and supporting both internal and production IT system planning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware/software faults and system/network issues.
- Monitor and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks.
- Assist users through onboarding/offboarding processes and resolve technical issues in person or over the phone.
- Support general IT infrastructure maintenance and replace hardware components as needed.
- Coordinate with the team leader for timely issue resolution and work on tasks until completion (or escalate to third parties when necessary).
- Build strong working relationships with users, IT engineers, department managers, software developers, and HR.
- Manage IT assets, including tagging hardware, procurement, and accurate inventory maintenance.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory, Office 365 Cloud Services, and Windows 10/11.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Servers 2016, 2019, and 2022.
- Technical knowledge of enterprise IT equipment and Microsoft technologies.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- A team player with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
- At least 1 year of experience in an IT environment, with relevant qualifications or a diploma in IT.
