Data Protection and Privacy Manager

We're seeking a skilled Privacy and Data Protection Specialist to join our Legal department.
This role involves implementing, monitoring, and maintaining personal data protection policies, ensuring compliance with the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and specific industry regulations.
You will support Compliance, Technology, and Data Protection areas, actively participating in risk assessments, contract reviews, record of processing activities, and providing guidance to business areas.
- Develop and implement privacy, cookies, consent, and information security policies.
- Conduct mappings and inventories of personal data.
- Participate in internal and external audits on data protection.
- Lead privacy awareness training sessions.
- Prepare technical opinions and educational materials on data protection.
- Act as a communication channel with regulatory bodies when required.
- Coordinate responses to data-related incidents in collaboration with the Technology Department.
- Oversee and support data protection impact assessments (DPIA).
Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Law, previous experience in privacy and personal data protection, and preferred certifications such as EXIN Privacy & Data Protection or ISO 27701.
Key skills include advanced knowledge of LGPD, GDPR, and international privacy practices, experience with privacy management tools, and intermediate proficiency in English.
