Energy Analyst Job Overview

The role of Energy Analyst is crucial in ensuring electricity supply to stations and sites.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Ensure electricity connectivity at sites/towers during construction or upon customer request.
  • Communicate completed electricity connections to customers/carriers, providing cadastral data.
  • Verify power connections, register units/meters accurately, and confirm completion to customers/carriers.
  • Manage electricity processes in fiber stations (Central Stations and Pops).
  • Coordinate with suppliers, guiding them on power connection methods.
  • Oversee technical and operational energy activities, maintaining up-to-date records.
  • Analyze candidate reports, informing MPAs about energy availability at proposed sites.
  • Conduct power connection processes at American Tower and Fiber stations/sites.
  • Evaluate and validate supplier costs/prices for each energy connection.
  • Monitor energy bill emissions, ensuring accurate unit/meter registration.
  • File documents generated from power connection processes.
  • Accept delivered services from suppliers, ensuring quality and proper technical execution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong knowledge of Brazilian Technical Standards (NBRs) and Electricity Concessionaires.
  • Advanced MS Office and Power BI skills.
  • Proficient with ERPs like Oracle, SAP, and similar systems.
  • Excellent electrical project interpretation and compatibility skills.
  • Familiarity with alternative energy sources.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to multitask, coordinate activities, and meet deadlines.
  • Organized and technically skilled, meeting customer schedules.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Telecom Engineering, or related field.
  • Infrastructure knowledge of cell phone/base stations.
  • At least 3 years of experience in civil and electrical works within the telecommunications area.
