Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Energy Management Systems Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in energy management systems, with the ability to implement, operate, and optimize these systems for power generation and transmission networks.

As an Energy Management Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable, efficient, and secure operation of electrical systems. This includes implementing, configuring, and maintaining energy management systems platforms for real-time monitoring and control of generation units and transmission assets.

You will also support generation control, frequency, and voltage regulation through energy management system functionalities, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on energy management software, and act as a liaison between clients and development teams to ensure technical specifications are met.

Additionally, you will provide technical support and training to operational and engineering teams, validate data models, collaborate with SCADA system teams for integration, adjust network and generation applications in real-time, create valid DTS models, test DTS events, analyze operational data, and maintain project documentation.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Automation, or a related field.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
  • Proven experience in energy management systems (EMS) platforms, specifically GE products.
  • A strong understanding of transmission/generation system operations.
