Energy Management Systems Professional

We are seeking a skilled Energy Management Systems professional to join our team. As an Energy Management Systems professional, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining energy management systems for real-time monitoring and control of generation units and transmission assets.

This role involves supporting generation control, frequency, and voltage regulation through energy management functionalities, as well as performing preventive and corrective maintenance on software to ensure seamless operation in generation and transmission environments.

Additionally, you will collaborate with SCADA system teams for proper integration and adjustment of network and generation applications, analyze operational data to identify opportunities for optimizing generation dispatch, transmission flows, and system efficiency.

Providing technical support and training to operational and engineering teams is also a key aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement and configure energy management systems for real-time monitoring and control of generation units and transmission assets.
  • Support generation control, frequency, and voltage regulation through energy management functionalities.
  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on software to ensure seamless operation in generation and transmission environments.
  • Collaborate with SCADA system teams for proper integration and adjustment of network and generation applications.
  • Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for optimizing generation dispatch, transmission flows, and system efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and training to operational and engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, power systems, automation, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of transmission/generation system operations.
  • Proven experience in energy management platforms.
  • Fluency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
